6th edition of Choro Jazz Festival
Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:33PM The 6th edition of the Choro Jazz Festival comes consolidated on the musical circuit. It will be performed in Fortaleza, before heading to the beautiful and paradisiacal Jericoacoara beach, where the festival presents its traditional musical week including renowned musicians from the worldwide musical scene in its line up. The Choro Jazz Festival, which is totally free, takes place from November 27th to 29th at Centro Cultural Dragão do Mar in Fortaleza and from December 2nd to 7th at Jericoacoara’s Main Square.
It will provide a musical overview that will transition between different Brazilian states, Portugal and Italy thus composing a rare and fruitful score to be covered by the public during intense days filled with a musical atmosphere. The approach of musical the genres that baptize the festival brings the exchange between musicians and styles providing the audacity of sound experimentation, improvisation and virtuosity; a graceful and especially tricky musical experience. The audience is presented with a musical landscape full of nuances, diversified accents and styles; a repertoire that is rarely included in the seasons of traditional shows.
