Feito A Man is a street festival that was founded in 2003.

Feito A Man presents a continious flow of artistic performances in different genres, including: Music- Cabaret- Installations- Performance- Theater- DJs ... Truly a festival of diversity. 

The scenes of Feito A Man can be found in the streets and squares of the historic town of Compostela, making a unique location for the artist and the audience.

The festival takes place during the month of August.

New member: World Music Festival Bratislava

We are very happy to welcome a new festival in our family!

The WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL BRATISLAVA offers concerts with both international stars and groups from Slovakia. In addition to the concerts, visitors can look forward to events for children and young people, dance workshops, a street show, discussion on intercultural dialogue and an international colloquium. Admission to most events is free.

The festival takes place in the beginning of September.

In memoriam: Hans Hjorth

Dear Friends,

Hans Hjorth, or Hasse as all his friends called him, passed away.
Hasse was a former chairman of the European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals, 
and he was crucial for the growth and structure of the network.
He was smart, fast, funny, outspoken, generous and warm. 
Hasse had a beautiful mind, and was a good friend for many.

Besides his work at the EFWMF, he had many hats in his long carreer
- Founder and MD of For Exclusive Artist Representation
- Executive Director of European Live Music Forum ELMF
- Senior Producer at Concerts Sweden
- Artistic Director of Falun Folkmusik Festival
- Director of The Castle Festival
- Director of the legendary venue Rockmagasinet
- Chairman of The Network for Non-commercial Culture (Kontaktnätet)
- Coordinator for Sweden@WOMEX 2011 - 2014
- Manager and international coordinator of GARMARNA

We wish his family and friends good memories of a unique person, 
he will be missed.

Mundial Montreal 2017 Call for Submissions

Mundial Montréal, North America’s World Music Summit, invites artists to submit an application to be considered for a 25-minute showcase spot at our 7th annual conference on November 14 – 17, 2017.  Our showcase program is extremely limited (approximately 34 spots) which do not compete with other activities/showcases in our program. Our mission is to present the best world music artists from Canada, as well as international artists, to industry professionals and the Montreal public. Showcasing artists are selected from a blend of applications and invitations to create the right mix of emerging market-ready talent that reflects the needs of our talent buyer pool.
